Pastor Henry E. Peterson

Pastor and Founder, Word of Faith Deliverance Ministries

Pastor Eugene Peterson was born in Artesia, New Mexico to parents, Danny C. Richardson and Jennifer Brooks. At an early age he was saved and he loved to preach God's word and lay hands.

He attended Roswell Senior High and O. D. Wyatt High School. He is certified in Air Conditioning HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Electricity.

Pastor Peterson strayed away from the Lord and lived a life as a gang member and did other things not pleasing to God, but in July of 1992 God saved him and refilled him with the Holy Ghost and he started running for his life.

In 2004, while serving as a minister under the late Supt. Robert L. Macklin, Pastor Macklin saw a great anointing upon his life and encouraged him to accept his call as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ. He prayed about it and accepted the call. As the Lord continued to bless him in the ministry he served in many capacities under the late Supt R.L. Macklin and current Supt. E.C. Barrett. He was the Assistant Sunday School teacher, Second Assistant President of Y.P.W.W., Chaplain for the Starlight District, President of the Evangelist Department for the Starlight District, and assisted the Pastor wherever needed.

In 2006 Pastor Peterson heard the call to become a pastor. After much prayer and fasting, he answered the call and founded of Word of Faith Deliverance Ministries.
